The Louisiana Rapides Parish School Grant Amendment, also known as Amendment 9, was on the ballot in Louisiana on October 23, 1999, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed to remove the constitutional provision that wards 9, 10 and 11 in Rapides Parish could form a school district separate from the parish school district in Rapides Parish.[1][2]
