Kevin M. Carter (New York)
Kevin M. Carter is a judge of the Erie County Family Court in New York. His current term ends on December 31, 2032.
Carter (Democratic Party, Republican Party, Conservative Party) ran for re-election for judge of the Erie County Family Court in New York. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Education
Carter received his B.A. degree in philosophy from Canisius College in 1986 and his J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1989.[1][2]
Career
Carter began his career in 1991 as a private practice lawyer specializing in domestic relations, personal injury, criminal and real estate cases. He also founded the Kevin M. Carter Attorney Internship Program for African American students that year. In 1999, he joined the law firm of Sullivan, Oliverio & Gioia as an associate and law guardian. He joined the Family Court in 2003.[1][2]
