Jennings (Democratic Party) is running for re-election for Attorney General of Delaware. She declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on September 15, 2026.[source]

Jennings succeeded Matthew Denn (D), who served from 2015 to 2018.

Jennings won the Democratic primary for attorney general against three challengers on September 6, 2018. She went on to win the open general election on November 6, 2018, defeating Republican Bernard Pepukayi with 61.3 percent of the vote.

Biography

Jennings was born in Wilmington, Delaware. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and a law degree from Villanova University Law School. Jennings' career experience includes working as the Delaware state prosecutor, chief administrative officer and public safety director of New Castle County, and with the Delaware Department of Justice.[1]
