Karen M. Miller is a judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. She was elected on November 5, 2002, taking office the following January.[1][2] She was re-elected in 2008 and 2014, and her current six-year term expires on January 4, 2021.[3][4][5]

As an unopposed candidate, she was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [4] 

Education

Miller was born in Rochester, N.Y., but was raised in South Florida. She received an undergraduate degree in European History from Bard College and a J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University.[6][7]

Career

Miller began her career as an assistant state attorney for Palm Beach County. She worked for the Florida Department of Children and Families from 1989 to 1997, serving as a health attorney, an acting district legal counsel and, finally, as district legal counsel. She later worked for A.G. Holley Hospital as chief legal counsel. She then worked as legal counsel for Clerk of Court Dorothy Wilken until she was elected to the circuit court in 2002.[6]
