Jeff Grayzel is currently the Mayor in Morris Township, NJ. Mayor Jeff Grayzel was born and raised in New Jersey and has been a resident of Morris Township for twenty four years. As mayor, Jeff applies his engineering and analytical background to develop practical solutions and deliver results. Jeff is an ardent believer in transparency and inclusion, fostering dialogue with people across the ideological spectrum by listening to their beliefs and concerns and working to deliver the best possible outcome for the entire community. This approach has earned him broad support within the community. Jeff has delivered real results for his community, now he’s ready to take that experience to the State Senate to bridge the gap between what our municipalities need and what Trenton delivers.

  • Affordability - It is important that we continue to work on new and innovative solutions to reduce unnecessary and wasteful spending while maintaining the exemplary schools and services that make our communities strong.
  • Pandemic Recovery - Ensuring our children's safety is a top priority. It is crucial that we put precautions in place to help schools stay open. Small businesses are the backbone of the economy, and we need to ensure they are getting the support they need to keep their doors open and their staff employed.
  • Preventing Gun Violence - We need to work together to find common sense solutions to our gun violence crisis. We need to ensure our children feel safe in our schools and in our communities. It is critical that we keep deadly weapons out of the hands of violent criminals and domestic abusers while respecting the Second Amendment and rights of responsible gun owners.

As an engineer, I bring that engineering mentality and approach to solving a broad range of problems in my own community. New Jersey is a very inefficient state with much redundancy. There is a great opportunity to RE-engineer how we do things in New Jersey in order to make us more efficient and save tax dollars. The NJ Statehouse needs an engineer to lead us in new approaches to solving problems and finding solutions to our affordability issues across our state.

I believe in prioritizing putting people before politics and working effectively with others to get things done.

I am engineer that bring an engineering mindset to finding solutions to a vast array of the problems we face.

Making NJ more affordable

Jeff Grayzel became the first-ever democratic Mayor of Morris Township in 2019.

Governors should work with the state legislature in the lawmaking process,

Affordability: Across NJ our towns have so much to offer. We need to ensure that our communities continue to be desirable places to live, work and raise a family.

I believe it is extremely important for state legislators to have previous experience in LOCAL government The municipalities are often the place where policy is implemented, and Trenton has lost touch with how state policy affects our local communities.

I believe in prioritizing putting people before politics and working effectively with others to get things done.
