James Walley was a 2011 Democratic candidate for District 43 of the Mississippi State Senate.

Walley ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi Senate District 43. He defeated Dennis Cochran and Tommy Dickerson in the primary on August 2, 2011. Phillip Gandy and Connie Wilkerson defeated Robert Hendry and Roun McNeal in the Republican primary. Gandy then defeated Wilkerson in the primary runoff election on August 23, 2011. James Snyder ran as an Independent as well. Walley lost in the general election on November 8, 2011.[1]
