John Devine (independent) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Massachusetts. He did not appear on the ballot for the general election on November 6, 2018.

Devine unsuccessfully ran as a Democratic candidate for the Thirtieth Middlesex District of the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 2016 and for Massachusetts' 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House in 2014.[1]

Devine attended City College of San Francisco from 1986 to 1989 and went on to earn his B.L.A. with a concentration in psycholobiology from Harvard University in 1994. He attended U.C. Berkeley for summer session 1991 and summer session 1993 then performed graduate study in neuroscience there during spring 1994.[2]

Devine attended law school at New England School of Law in Boston in 2016.[2]

Professionally, Devine has worked as a paralegal, as a house painter, and in carpentry. He also worked several years as a taxi-cab driver.[3]
