John Andrew West
John Andrew West was a judge on the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was appointed to the court by Gov. Bob Taft in February 2001 and was elected in November 2002 to an unexpired that ended on January 5, 2005.[1][2] In November 2010, West was re-elected for another six-year term that ended on January 3, 2017.[3]
Education
West received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and his J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.[4]
Career
Before becoming a judge, West practiced law for twenty-four years. In 1996 until February of 2001 when he joined the Court of Common Pleas, he served as a municipal court judge for the Hamilton County Municipal Court in Cincinnati.[4]
2010 election
West was re-elected after running unopposed.[5]
