Joe Dallas Millado is a conservative small business owner, Vice President of a Florida non-profit, staunch Trump supporter, and a Republican candidate for Florida's 3rd Congressional District. He's a proud first generation Filipino-American, a Jacksonville native, and graduate of Florida State University.

Joe Dallas attributes his strong family values and work ethic to his late father, Ben Millado, an accomplished civil engineer and pillar in the Filipino-American community, and his heart and passion for service to his mother, Linda Millado, a school teacher and community mentor. Widely recognized for his tenacity and ability to advance conservative policies in Washington regardless of party control, Joe Dallas quickly rose through the ranks in Congress to serve the Sunshine State as a Senior Policy Advisor to two Senior Florida Republicans.

Leveraging more than a decade of legislative experience, Joe Dallas is well positioned to serve Florida's 3rd Congressional District - addressing key issues through practical policy solutions instead of cheap talk and politics.  He's running for Congress to inspire and lead a refreshing new era in Washington with "day one" competency and passion. Joe Dallas's community message serves as a "call to action" to get involved and make your voice count.
  • Putting America's Communities First - Solving critical issues for everyday Americans and their families with practical policy solutions not politics.

  • Qualified with Proven Experience - Solving any issue not only requires knowing what to fix but having the competency to do so. Draining Washington's "swamp" is no different.

  • Genuine Representation - Having an "ear" is not the same as having a "voice" in Congress. You and your family deserve deeply engaged representation at all times, not just during an existential crisis.
Veterans - When our brave men and women commit to serve our great nation with honor, likewise we make a commitment to support these heroes both downrange and back home.  Joe Dallas will continue

to work with our veterans, their families, and advocates to secure the benefits they've earned and deserve to successfully pursue their American dream on the home front.

National Defense - Freedom and security is not inherited, it's hard earned and maintained everyday by our soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen. Joe Dallas will work to secure the vital resources our Armed Forces need to continue to defend our great nation against any continued or evolving threat from land, sea, air, and cyberspace.

Healthcare - Every American should have access to high-quality healthcare that's both affordable and reflective of their needs. Joe Dallas will work tirelessly to champion quality, affordable choice through market-based competition, innovation, and transparency; not more government mandates.

Economy - With many households still living paycheck-to-paycheck, instead of investing more of your money in Washington, you should be investing your money into your savings and retirement. Joe Dallas will work to ensure you keep more of what you've earned and that Congress works as hard for you and your family as you do.
Having the requisite competency and knowledge to uphold the promises made to voters on the campaign trail. Knowing that money isn't that answer to life, happiness, or our nation's issues. Understanding that you work and answer to the voters of your district and you have a responsibility to represent their views as a collective and not necessarily your own personal views at times. Having the strength and courage to do what's right and moral and not what's always popular.
Unwavering determination, passion, and requisite knowledge in federal policy and the legislative process.  Additionally, having the vision to see the future of our nation's current trajectory and then having the will to change it for a better future.  Having the qualities to be a "successful office holder" isn't uncommon.  But it's the few that pursue and rise to the calling that posses that quality that separates us.  It's having that "fire" in you that will never burn out. Knowing with every fiber of your being that you are qualified to deliver the results that your district not only needs but expects.  In these times, there are so many reasons why one wouldn't seek public office right now but it's that one quality every leader possesses - that's in me as well - that overshadows all those reasons not to.
To represent their districts priorities when introducing and voting on legislation presented on the House floor. When given tough choices as life always gives us, that your U.S. Representative votes in line with their district's priorities and not special interest, votes and acts on their conscience and heart, and votes within the framework of our Constitution. That in some way, manner, or expression - they use their time to tell your story or solve issues we are going through today for those of tomorrow.
That good people acted courageously to do what was necessary in our nation's most unique times. Setting a new standard in our representation, our expectations as voters, and in our Congress' history. I never want to be remembered as the thousandth or millionth person going in a direction we know in our hearts isn't the right way. But to be known as one of the first to pioneer a new chapter and lead a new era in our country while being an inspiration to all that were told their dreams were impossible to achieve as well.
The U.S. House of Representatives solely holds the "power of the purse." It's the institution in which bills affecting our nation's revenue must originate from. One of our greatest threats to our national security is our financial stability and independence from foreign money and debt. Additionally, the length of time of service is shorter than their counterparts in the federal government and the constituency is defined by population and counties. In theory, these unique qualities should give those serving in the U.S. House of Representatives a clearer picture of the needs for those they represent and should be better positioned to be more responsive to the will of the people.
No, not in simply "politics" or if you had previous experience in government and during your time, you conceded that nothing could change. For example, my experience is in writing legislation on a multitude of different issues on a national level. That would prove very beneficial to the voters in Florida District - 03. Having the ability to hear your issues and priorities and translating that into legislative solutions is what you expect and deserve from your Member of Congress. Anyone can shake hands and make promises. I however, will solve our nation's most pressing issues with good legislative policy - not politics.
