Mize received his undergraduate education from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law.[1]

At the time of his appointment, Mize had been the owner of Mize Law, PLLC since 2018. He previously served as an associate at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP.[1]
