|- We need to restore parent's control of schools. Parents are the greatest influence and teacher in any kids life. We will have a transparent curriculum where parents control and know what their kids are learning in school.
- We need safe schools and safe communities. Fights and violence are breaking out at unprecedented rates within schools and this is spilling over into surrounding neighborhoods. Children who cannot read and write by the third grade have a very high probability of engaging in criminal activity and a low probability of lifetime success.
- We need superior academics. Anne Arundel County Schools were once a top five school district in Maryland. They are now in the bottom 50 percent. Almost 2/3 children enrolled in AACPS cannot read or write at grade level. We need to restore accountability to the parents. We will get these scores up through the oversight and administrative appointments that will be made on this board.
