The Georgia City of Conyers Public Facilities Authority Amendment, also known as Amendment 35, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 7, 1978, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have created the City of Conyers Public Facilities Authority and authorized the Authority to issue revenue bonds.[1]

Text of measure
The question on the ballot:
Shall the Constitution be amended so as to create the City of Conyers Public Facilities Authority, to provide for the powers, authorities and duties of such Authority, to authorize such Authority to issue its revenue bonds and to provide for the method and manner of such issuance and for the validation thereof, to authorize the Authority to contract with the City of Conyers and other public bodies, and to authorize the City of Conyers to contract with the Authority for the use by said City or its residents of any facilities or services of the Authority?[1][2] |
