The Georgia School Superintendent Amendment, also known as Amendment 3, was on the ballot in Georgia on November 3, 1936, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The measure would have created the office of state school superintendent instead of the office of state school commissioner.[1]
