Eileen Weiser
Eileen Weiser is a former member of the Michigan State Board of Education. A Republican, Weiser served from 1999 to 2007, and from 2011 to 2019.
Biography
Before her election to the board, Weiser served as executive director of the McKinley Foundation. Weiser has served on the board of the Michigan Science Center, the Education Commission of the States, the 21st Century Education Commission, and the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.[1][2]

Political career
Michigan State Board of Education (1999-2007, 2011-2019)
Weiser was first elected to the board in November 1998 and took office in January 1999. Weiser sought re-election in 2006 but was defeated. Weiser ran once more in 2010 and was re-elected to the board. She served until January 2019.
