An effort in Vernon, Wisconsin, to recall Supervisor Ed Moline was initiated in July 2019. The recall election was held on August 27, 2019, and Moline was removed from office.[1]
Recall vote
The recall elections were held on August 27, 2019. Ed Moline was defeated in the recall. Former Town Chairman Fred Michalek earned 797 votes, resident Bill Pagelsdorg earned 70 votes, former Town Supervisor Joseph Reilly earned 50 votes, and Moline earned 49 votes.[1]
Recall supporters
The recall effort was initiated in response to Moline's support for a proposed boundary agreement between Vernon and Mukwonago.[1]

The number of valid signatures required for a recall election is 25% of the number of persons that voted in the last preceding election for the office of governor within the electoral district of the officer sought to be recalled. Petitioners submitted over 1,300 signatures.[1]
