Eugene N. Hamilton was a judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was a appointed to the court in 1970 by President Richard Nixon. [1] Hamilton retired from the court in 2000 and passed away in November of 2011.[2][3]

Education

Hamilton received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Illinois.[4]

Military service

Hamilton was a Judge Advocate General Officer in the United States Army after graduating from law school.[4]

Career

After retiring from the military, Hamilton worked as a trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice until joining the court.[4]
