Career

After graduating from the University of Oregon with a law degree in 1999, Erik Iverson has worked on Senate campaigns and acted as a consultant to the Republican Governors Association, Republican National Committee, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee.[1]

In 2002, Iverson became the chief of staff for former Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Mont.), a position he retained until 2008.[2] While working under Rehberg, Iverson also served as the chairman of the Republican Party of Montana.[3] In 2006, Iverson served as campaign manager for Sen. Conrad Burns’ (R-Mont.) re-election bid in 2006.[4][5]

According to the Missoulian, Iverson resigned in late 2008 from his chair position with the party and his position with Rehberg, to take up a job with Tom Siebel's Montana Meth Project.[3][6]

In 2009, Iverson founded Iverson Strategies, a political consulting firm. Later, in 2013, Iverson joined Moore Information, Inc., a political consulting firm.[2] The firm specializes in political campaigns, organization research, social marketing, ballot measures, communications, branding, public relations, public policy, government affairs and market feasibility.[7] Moore Information's president, Bob Moore, described the addition of Iverson to the firm, thusly:[5]

Erik brings Moore Information his invaluable political perspective and understands the dynamics of public opinion. He is a quick study, an accomplished strategist and knows how to use survey data to win campaigns, sell ideas and develop communications programs. We are very fortunate to have him on the Moore Information team.[8]

In 2013, Iverson was named one of the top 500 influencers by Campaigns and Elections magazine, which noted Iverson's connections with Rehberg and Iverson's role within the Montana GOP.[9]
