Eric Descheenie was a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives, representing District 7. He was first elected to the chamber in 2016, and he served until January 2019. Descheenie did not file to run for re-election in 2018.

Descheenie was also a 2014 Democratic candidate of the District 7 of the Arizona State Senate.

Elections for the Arizona House of Representatives took place in 2016. The primary election took place on August 30, 2016, and the general election was held on November 8, 2016. The candidate filing deadline was June 1, 2016.[1] Incumbents Albert Hale (D) and Jennifer Benally (D) did not seek re-election.

Eric Descheenie and Wenona Benally were unopposed in the Arizona House of Representatives District 7 general election.[2][3]

Elections for the Arizona State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was May 28, 2014. Incumbent Carlyle Begay defeated Eric Descheenie and Representative Jamescita Peshlakai in the Democratic primary and defeated Kelly Gneiting (Americans Elect of Arizona) in the general election.[5][6][7][8]
