Ernie Leidiger
Ernie Leidiger (b. August 7, 1953) is a former Republican member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 47A from 2011 to 2015. Leidiger did not seek re-election in 2014.
Biography
Leidiger earned his B.S. in General Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, M.S. from Salve Regina College, and M.A. in national security and strategic planning from the U.S. Naval War College. His professional experience includes working for Brothers Office Furniture.

Leidiger won re-election in the 2012 election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 47A. He was unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14 and defeated Keith Pickering (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
2010
Leidiger won election to the District 34A Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. He defeated Leanne Pouliot Kunze (DFL) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]

Taxpayers League of Minnesota
The Taxpayers League of Minnesota, a Minnesota-based taxpayer advocacy organization, releases a legislative scorecard for the Minnesota House of Representatives and Minnesota State Senate once a year. The scorecard gives each legislator a score based on how they voted in the prior legislative term on tax issues and “their efforts to balance the state budget without a tax increase.” The organization also compiles a legislator’s individual "Lifetime Score."[4]
