Denise L. Nappier
Denise L. Nappier was the Democratic treasurer of Connecticut from 1999 to 2019. She was first elected in 1998 and was re-elected every four years through 2014.[1] She did not run for re-election in 2018.
Biography
Nappier previously served as Hartford City treasurer for nearly ten years and as executive director of Hartford’s Riverfront Recapture.[1]
She attended Virginia State University for her undergraduate degree and earned her master's from the University of Cincinnati.

Connecticut Treasurer (1999-2019)
Nappier served as the Connecticut treasurer from January 1999, after her election in November 1998, until January 2019. She was re-elected in 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2014.[1] She did not seek re-election in 2018.
