Campaign themes

2016

Bellamy's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

K-12 education

  • We need strong education for the children of wyoming so they can prepare to enter a competitive job market and enjoy a good standard of living.

The budget

  • I will advocate for a budget that works for the people of Wyoming. Budget cuts will have to happen but we must insure that these cuts are balanced. I do not support the increase of any taxes or the creation of any new tax.

Family Values

  • I am pro life. I agree that a woman has the right to do what she feels is best with her own body when it is only here self that is involved. When a child is conceived there are now two individuals sharing the same body to survive. She is now responsible to care for that child growing up inside here preparing to experience life out of her womb.

The Second Amendment

  • I support the second amendment. Our founders included it in the Bill of Rights to insure our future protection and sustainability as a free people.

Helping the poor

  • I belive that it is in the best interest of our state to provide programs for the poor that allow for a safety net in times of trouble and difficulty. I also belive that if we are going to help the poor we must make sure that those who can eventually make it back into the work place do so.[1]
