Donald A. Miles is a judge of the Supreme Court 12th Judicial District in New York. He was elected in the general election on November 8, 2016.
Miles was a judge for the New York City Civil Court from 2008 to 2016.[1]
Biography
Miles received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1973, his M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1979 and his J.D. from Antioch University in 1987. Prior to his legal career, he worked as a psychiatric social worker for Lincoln Hospital.[1]
Career
Miles worked as a private practice lawyer, court attorney and a principal law clerk to Justice Tuitt prior to becoming a civil court judge in 2008.[1]

2016
New York held general elections for local judicial offices on November 8, 2016. A primary election was held on September 13, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wish to run in this election was July 14, 2016.[2] La Tia W. Martin, Doris M. Gonzalez, and Donald A.
