Chris Danou (b. January 18, 1967) is a former Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 92 from 2009 to 2017.

Biography

Danou is a former Police Officer with the City of Onalaska, and has worked for the La Crosse County Emergency Response Team, and Metropolitan Enforcement Group.[1]

Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Incumbent Chris Danou was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Isaac Weix was unopposed in the Republican primary. Danou and Weix faced off in the general election.[6][7] Incumbent Danou defeated Weix in the general election, and was re-elected for another term.[8]

Danou was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 91. He defeated Republican Bill Ingram in the general election on November 2, 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14, 2010, primary election.[11]
