Biography
Crawford earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of South Alabama. Her professional experience includes working as a Licensed Social Worker at South Mississippi Regional Center and as a Child Case Manager at Gulf Coast Mental Health Clinic.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[2] Brian Pearse defeated Hunter Dawkins in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Carolyn Crawford defeated Jeff Wallace in the Republican primary. Crawford defeated Pearse in the general election.

On November 8, 2011, Crawford won election to District 121 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She defeated Jeff Wallace in the primary on August 2, 2011. Crawford defeated incumbent Democrat Diane Peranich in the November 8 general election.[3][4]
