Craig Newbold is a former Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 1 from 2011 to 2013.

Newbold previously owned the IT Company, BEST Consulting, before his retirement. After that, he founded a nonprofit IT training school, Newlife Academy. Following that, he started an IT company whose mission was in part to hire those who had graduated from Newlife Academy.

Newbold lost his bid for re-election in the 2012 election for Ohio House, District 5. Newbold was unopposed in the March 6 Republican primary election and was defeated by Nick Barborak (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]
