Colin Simpson
Colin M. Simpson (b. March 5, 1959) was a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives, representing District 24. He served as Speaker of the House.
Simpson did not seek re-election to the House. On March 18, 2010, he launched his campaign for governor.[1] He lost in the primary, coming in fourth.
Simpson earned his B.A. from Colorado College in 1982. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1985.
Simpson has worked as an attorney for Simpson, Kepler and Edwards, Limited Liability Company since 1986.
Simpson served as Precinct Committeeman from 1988 to 1994 and as State Central Committeeman from 1992 to 1996. He then joined the Wyoming State House of Representatives in 1999. From 2005 to 2006, he served as House Speaker Pro Tempore. Simpson then served as House Majority Floor Leader from 2007 to 2008. He has been Speaker of the House since 2009.

Simpson did not run for re-election to the Wyoming House of Representatives, District 24. He instead ran for Governor. Simpson lost in the August 17 primary. He came in fourth with 15.74% of the vote.
