The Colorado Tax on Motor Vehicle Ownership Amendment, also known as Measure 1, was on the November 3, 1936 ballot in Colorado as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure imposed an ownership tax on motor vehicles in lieu of an ad valorem tax.[1]
