Three of the five seats on the Kenton County School District Board of Education were up for by-district general election on November 8, 2016. In the race for District 1, incumbent Karen Collins defeated challengers Terrie Meister and Bill Schneider. District 2 incumbent Carl Wicklund and District 5 incumbent Carla Egan ran unopposed and won re-election to their respective seats.[1]

Schneider reported no contributions or expenditures to the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance as of October 25, 2016.[2]
