Sister sites will merge to provide optimum reader experience
Madison, Wisconsin - February 25, 2015: This week, the Lucy Burns Institute (LBI) announced the merger of its two flagship websites, Ballotpedia and Judgepedia. All articles from Judgepedia will be transferred to Ballotpedia.org, adding to its already extensive encyclopedic database. The merger will provide readers with a more fluid, user-friendly experience.
The information previously featured on Judgepedia will now be housed under Ballotpedia, allowing readers to quickly and easily jump between pages and access information. All previous web addresses for Judgepedia.org will redirect to the same page on Ballotpedia.org.
"We are excited to combine the strengths of Judgepedia and Ballotpedia to create a bigger and better resource for nonpartisan news about American politics," says Ron Donoho, chief content officer of Ballotpedia.
The mission of both sites remains the same: to provide readers comprehensive, nonpartisan information on American politics and policies and the judicial system.
Ballotpedia is an online encyclopedia about American politics and elections that seeks to connect people to politics by providing accurate and objective information about politics and the judiciary at the local, state and federal levels.
