RealClearPolitics published an article discussing the potential Iran nuclear deal and how it could impact relations between Jewish Americans and the Democratic Party. The article analyzed a Gallup poll that showed Jewish support for Barack Obama declining nine points in two years as part of its argument, while Jewish voters had supported Obama by a wide margin in both of his presidential election wins. Author Andrew Kohut speculated that a deal that harms Democratic Party popularity among Jewish Americans could also harm the party’s prospects in future elections.
