Barrow County is located within the Piedmont Judicial Circuit of the Superior Court Tenth District.

In addition to the Superior Court the people of Barrow County are served by a Probate Court, a Juvenile Court, a Magistrate Court, Statham Municipal Court, Winder Municipal Court, Auburn Municipal Court and Braselton Municipal Court.

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia has jurisdiction in Barrow County. Appeals from the Northern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
