Byron Sylvester Waite (1852-1930) was a federal judge on the Board of General Appraisers, which became the United States Customs Court during the time of his service thereon.

Waite was nominated to the Board by President Theodore Roosevelt. He was confirmed on June 18, 1902. He assumed senior status on the USCC on October 31, 1930, and served in that capacity until his death on December 31, 1930.[1]
