Biography
Schoeneman received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, his M.A. in political management from the Graduate School of Political Management of the George Washingtong University, and his B.A. in political science from the George Washington University.
Schoeneman began working as the political and legislative director of the Seafarers International Union of North America in 2011.[1]
Prior to that role, Schoeneman founded Acacia Strategies LLC, a transportation-focused lobbying firm, and served as managing partner from 2009 until 2011. He also worked as the executive director of the American Maritime Congress from 2006 to 2008 and government affairs director at the Marine Engineers' Beneficial Association from 2003 to 2006.
