Amanda Banks (Indiana)
Amanda Banks is a former Republican interim member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 17 from December 16, 2014 to May 8, 2015. She was appointed on December 5, 2014, to fill the vacancy caused by her husband's leave of absence to serve in the United States Navy. She was officially sworn in on December 16, 2014. She was scheduled to stay in the Senate until his return; Jim Banks returned on April 21, 2015, and was reinstated on May 8, 2015.[1][2][3][4]
