The Alabama Historical Sites and State Parks Bond Amendment, also know as Amendment 2, was on the November 3, 1998, election ballot in Alabama as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed a $110 million bond issue to support the development and maintenance of state parks and historical sites in Alabama.[1]
