The Alabama Greene County Officers Compensation Amendment, also known as Amendment 9, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed to repeal Amendment 236 of the Alabama constitution concerning the manner in which the officials of Greene County are compensated.[1]
