The Alabama Winston County Forest FIre Protection Amendment, also known as Amendment 22, was on the ballot in Alabama on March 2, 1982, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that the government could levy a tax on acreage to support forest fire protection in Winston County.[1]
