The Alabama Shelby County Judicial Commission Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Alabama on November 4, 2008, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. This measure proposed to create the Shelby County Judicial Commission and to fill certain judicial vacancies.[1]

Relating to Shelby County, proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, establishing the Shelby County Judicial Commission and providing for the filling of vacancies in the offices of circuit and district judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit.(Proposed by Act 2007-225)[2][3] |
