Eliminate grocery taxes

Introduce term limits for all elected positions

Establish an Initiatives and Referendum pathway for citizen originated legislation

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Giving voters a greater voice in the decision-making process by curtailing PAC and special interest groups from buying representatives votes and by allowing citizens to process Initiatives or Referendums to implement the will of the people ona variety of issues.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

My late father. Was a dog feed salesman but managed to keep 4 kids fed, clothed, and happy, and always maintained an incredibly upbeat attitude about life.

What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?

Extremely honest, relatively intelligent, analytical, and a great problem solver.

What legacy would you like to leave?

Trying to make Alabama a better place for my son, his wife, and their son after I've departed this world.

What is the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember? How old were you at the time?

John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963, I was 6 years old and remember my first-grade teacher fainting at her desk.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Rick Chandler (L)

I was an assistant piano instructor at a very young age and held a part-time position for 4 years.
