The Arkansas Establish a State Board of Education Amendment, also known as Proposed Amendment 30, was on the November 8, 1938 ballot in Arkansas as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have established a State Board of Education, to oversee public schools and adoption and distribution of textbooks.[1][2]
