Webster Oliver
Webster Oliver (1888-1969) was a federal judge on the United States Customs Court.
Oliver was nominated to the USCC by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. He was commissioned on June 24, 1940. He served as chief justice of the court, and then as chief judge following legislation re-naming USCC justices as judges, for 25 years, from 1940-1965. He assumed senior status on June 24, 1967, and served in that capacity until his death on November 16, 1969.[1]
