|I am a native of St. George and live in the home I grew up in and my Great Grandpa built in the late 1800's.
I have a great love for Southern Utah. It is a beautiful and wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.
My wife Jennifer and I met while we were attending Dixie College. We married a few years later while attending SUU then made our home in St. George. We have 5 children ranging from 13 - 22.
I received my B.S. from Dixie State University in Business Administration. I have been an owner/operator of small businesses, the Director of Sales for an electronics manufacturer and currently am the Managing Member of RxTrax, a small software company.
Over the past 4 terms I have been able to create legislation that protects the unborn, reduce regulations, secure our 2nd Amendment rights, bring more transparency to our State-owned properties, and to reduce taxes, especially those on Social Security. There are many other bills that we were able to modify, cleaning up problems that have a negative effect on our quality of life.
I have learned so much and feel like I have been able to stand strong for conservative principles that reflect our values here in Southern Utah. There is always room for me to improve and I will do so.
I take this responsibility seriously and will work my hardest to represent the people of Southern Utah and the principles of the Constitution.
- I am a conservative that believes individuals create prosperity not the government. A smaller government that stays within its role is important and requires constant pushback to prevent the over reaching problems we see today.
- I am pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment and pro-freedom.
- I am a valiant fighter for lower taxes. The power to tax is the power to control.
Lower taxes, parent rights, 2nd Amendment rights, property rights and individual freedom.
One that has principles and sticks to them and will honestly share them with constituents and colleagues.
Do the due diligence with every piece of legislation and transparently report back to constituents.
One of mutual respect but fiercely defends their branch of government.
Water, Land, Housing costs, Data privacy, continued conservative principles that have brought us prosperity.
Not necessarily. We need individuals with real life experience that can bring it to the legislature and who can work with others with honesty and transparency,
Absolutely. No one person can get legislation passed. You have to be able to persuade and explain your perspective. That does not happen when there is no relationship of trust with other legislators.
There are many great examples of great legislators. Though we can model ourselves on their good points, I feel it is important to be your own person and be accountable for your own decisions and choices.
Yes. The legislator should be an active participant when using emergency of powers.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
