Ballot title

The ballot title for Proposition 3 was as follows:

Relating to proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Texas providing that the Legislature may authorize the creation of hospital districts in Ochiltree, Castro, Hansford and Hopkins Counties, each district to be coextensive with the limits of such county, authorizing the levying and rates of taxes.

The constitutional amendment was introduced into the Texas State Legislature as Senate Joint Resolution 22 during the 57th regular legislative session in 1961.[1]
