Public Schools - I will work to ensure public funds stay in public schools. It is past time to fully fund our schools, give our teachers raises and invest in improving our facilities to provide our students with the best education possible.

Infrastructure - As we invest in the infrastructure of Tennessee we must be committed to expanding broadband to rural and underserved areas. We must also invest in upgrading our sewage systems. We are growing fast and many of our sewers can no longer handle the load resulting in overflow and E.coli contamination of our waterways.

Tennesseans’ Rights - I will work tirelessly to protect the rights of Tennesseans and restore the rights of women in our state.
Our environment is an area of public policy I am personally passionate about. In East Tennessee, our environment is a key part of our economy and our current leadership has not been a steward of it. Under the current leadership, from 2010 to 2020 the percentage of our waterways that are impaired has risen from 32.4% to 55.4%. This is the result of poor policies and poor planning, and it poses a risk to the economy of Tennessee.
