Tarryl Clark
Tarryl Clark (b. July 31, 1961) was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 8th Congressional District of Minnesota.
Bio
Clark graduated with her Bachelor's degree from Drake University in 1983 and also later graduated from Arizona State with her Master's in Counseling in 1986 and her Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell Law in 1992.
Clark was a Democratic Farmer-Labor member of the Minnesota State Senate. She won a special election in 2005, and was re-elected in November of 2006, with her term expiring in 2010. She chose not to run for re-election in 2010. She served as the Assistant Majority Leader.
Before her election to the state senate, Clark worked as an attorney and social worker. She still works as a legal consultant when the legislature is not in session. Clark was a 2004 superdelegate at the Democratic National Convention.

Elections
2012
Clark ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Minnesota's 8th District. She was defeated by Rick Nolan in the Democratic primary.[2]
2010
Clark chose not to run in the 2010 election.
2006
On November 7, 2006, Clark won re-election to the 15th District Seat in the Minnesota State Senate, defeating Jeff Johnson (R).[3]
