Troy Rohn
Troy Rohn was an at-large member of the Boise School District Board of Trustees in Idaho. Rohn assumed office in 2012. Rohn left office on September 24, 2020.
Rohn ran for re-election for an at-large seat of the Boise School District Board of Trustees in Idaho. Rohn won in the general election on September 4, 2018.
Rohn announced his resignation in a letter that cited the state and federal government's response to the coronavirus as his reason for resigning.[1]
Rohn was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 19B of the Idaho House of Representatives. He ran unsuccessfully for District 19A of the Idaho House of Representatives in 2012.
Biography
Rohn obtained a B.S. in physiology from U.C. Davis and a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Washington.[2]
Rohn's professional experience includes working as a professor of biological sciences at Boise State University.[3]

Rohn ran in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives District 19A. Mathew Erpelding defeated Rohn and J. Dallas Gudgell in the Democratic primary on May 15, 2012. Geoffrey D. Talmon lost against Mike Washburn in the Republican primary. Erpelding won the seat in the general election on November 6, 2012.[7][8]
