Tom Sanchez
Tom Sanchez was a 2014 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 33rd Congressional District of Texas.[1]
Biography
Sanchez served in the US Marine Corps as a field radio operator from 1973 to 1976. He then earned a degree in electrical engineering form Southern Illinois University in 1979. He began working in the private sector as an engineer in 1981. During this time he earned a Juris Doctorate from Chicago Kent College of Law. In 2001, Sanchez joined Research In Motion (Blackberry).[2]

Sanchez ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Texas' 33rd District. Sanchez was defeated by incumbent Marc Veasey in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.[4]
