My Name is Tony D'Arrigo. My main focus is to Aide and assist my constituents to reach a level in which we deserve. The Many Industries of my Focus are as follows; Healthcare, Energy, Auto Industry, Affordable Housing, Healthier foods, the constitution, tax code, banking industry, education, entitlement programs, and infrastructure to name a few. We need to make the American Dream attainable, once again. Many of the bills that have been passed in the last 4-6 years have been only focused to help the top percentage of citizens. They have single handedly erased the middle class. We need to re-establish the middle class, and then Uplift the lower classes to higher levels. For more Information please visit my website www.tonydarrigo.com
  • Entitlements we need to expand and increase! Not decrease and Defund as the Republicans want to do. They have said Many times that they want to cut these programs in order to save money but these programs are FUNDED by the citizens themselves individually so this needs to reflect the needs or the citizens that are paying it. We need to lower the Retirement Age to 55. This give 20 years of Enjoyment of Retirement and also contributes to the workforce ability to expand and get younger. The Golden Years we earned. We Need more of them so we can properly Enjoy them. In my district alone over 250k+ Citizens rely on some sort of Entitlement program. Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and others. Vote for someone who supports YOU!
  • We need to have Healthier foods and lifestyles be easier to attain. The processed food that is ingested in America are not foods that is allowed in many other countries. The reason for this is too many lax laws on what manufacturers can use in our food. This needs to change. Obesity, Cancer, diabetes, ADHD, and many other diseases are said to be contributed by the processed food we ingest.
  • The Car industry is solely responsible for the bad credit epidemic and the reason why we have hit the HIGHEST LEVELS of Repos EVER. Auto Interest rates need to be CAPPED at 15% and Car Prices need to come back down to Earth. All Inclusive Pricing needs to Displayed and honored. Too many Bait and switches with Dealers RIPPING OFF customers with Market Adjustments and Lowballing Trade in Values. Those dealers need to be punished and fined for such behavior. We need to build a task force to enforce these rules and give ACCURATE Trade in Values. USED CARS NEED TO HAVE a 6 month BUMPER TO BUMPER Warranties on ALL Used Vehicles. This promotes sale of Good Quality Cars and removes the bad cars from our roads.
I am very passionate about the programs that my constituents care about. 15% is the service industry. These are jobs that get their hours cut so they don't have to be offered paid Healthcare or Benefits. These cut hours effect their ability to pay for their home, food, transportation and whatever life has to throw at them. They shouldn't have to worry about getting hours cut.
To name a few; Honesty, Composure, Resiliency, Compassion, Decency, Integrity, Intelligence, ethics, and Morals. We haven't seen many of these qualities in the current congress. Too many Hypocrites, conspiracy theorists, cultists, and selfish Representatives Flood the Chamber in the current state. We need to function for our constituents and the American people to put us in a situation to succeed.
We need to know the difference from right and wrong. We need to know which fights to fight. We have to have the ability to recognize the things we need to change in order to be a successful America. We need to be as Transparent as possible so the American People Know what work we are doing for the betterment of the country.
I was 13 Years Old and It was as a baker. I also was a Landscaper that same Summer. I held the positions for a few years.
Healthcare and the Credit rating system have been the largest struggles in my personal life. To elaborate, I have had unfortunately, bad luck when it comes to health. Cancer, coma, broken legs, and other illnesses have slowed me down. With those hospital bills that have exceeded 100k, it made it very hard to purchase vehicles, a home, and did not allow a good credit rating. This is Why Healthcare costs should be fixed so citizens don't have to not only deal with recovering and getting literally back on their feet, they also have to deal with crippling debt that they have to unnecessarily allocate a large portion of their earnings to, in order to stay compliant in credit terms. if they fall behind, it remains on their credit for SEVEN YEARS. Why do people have to LOSE 7 years of their life to buy a home, car, and lose the opportunity to get ahead in life? This has to change, and I plan on fixing it.
Fake news and media coverage. too many hacks in the media influencing conspiracy theories and lies. We need to hold the liars and misinformation spreader accountable. These media outlets need to have a HUGE disclaimer saying the real truth or to say that the news or media outlet is not real news but yet opinions of the talking heads and not based on facts. We fine those media corporations and they will stop lying to the American people. These lies have costed Lives, careers, family, etc. They need to be held accountable.
Yes and no. It really depends on the efficiency of the work during the period you are in office.
I don't see a need for them. If the District or state wants different representatives, you vote for different representatives. If they keep getting elected, the majority of people believe they are doing the job they are asked to do. This is a why it should always be the views of the majority. If you want change, find a candidate you like to run against them.
Absolutely, because constituents in other areas have a completely different opinion and experience in different cases. We cannot believe that people who live in South Florida will have the same Values as Silicon Valley, or Boston, Minnesota, etc.
With actually investigations of actual crimes. Not Witch Hunts. Not Inquiries to find illegal acts. You investigate a crime that has been committed. Not Inquire to FIND an illegal act.
Oversight, budget, education, appropriations, ethics, energy, judiciary, natural resources, rules, small business, transportation, ways and means, Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, and intelligence.
I believe all elected officials should have fully transparent financial statements so the public knows where their loyalties lay.
