Smith Hickenlooper
Smith Hickenlooper (1880-1933) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.[1]
Early life and education
Professional career

Judicial career
Sixth Circuit
Hickenlooper was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on December 6, 1928 to fill the seat vacated by Maurice Donahue. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 17th, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on December 22, 1933.[1]
Southern District of Ohio
Hickenlooper was nominated by President Warren Harding on March 3, 1923 to fill the seat vacated by John Weld Peck. He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission that same day. He served on this court until January 7, 1929, when he was appointed to the Sixth Circuit.[1] Hickenlooper was succeeded in this position by Robert Reasoner Nevin.
