Biography
Sherry Dorsey Walker earned a bachelor's degree in English/journalism from the University of Delaware and a master's degree in film from Howard University. Dorsey Walker's career experience includes working as a filmmaker.[1]

She competed in the September 13 Democratic primary election with former Sussex County, Del., Register of Wills Greg Fuller, New Castle County, Del., Register of Wills Ciro Poppiti III, Rehoboth Beach, Del., commissioner Kathy McGuiness, State Senator Bethany Hall-Long and Brad Eaby, the Kent County Levy Court commissioner.[2][3]

CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM Having worked closely with the community, policing agencies and my fellow legislators, I was able to get HB 195 adding Body Worn Cameras to all police officers throughout the state. AFFORDABLE HOUSING Ensuring all Delawareans have access to quality affordable housing is crucial. I have sponsored legislation to enable citizens to live near their workplaces, promoting economic stability and well-being. By reducing commute times and supporting local businesses, this initiative fosters a more inclusive and equitable society.
